This is about the Enneagram, also know as the "nine-diagram."
Taken from the cover of book "The Enneagram" by Riso.
In order to know the human mind better, you must study the personalities of mankind, the collective awareness. To know this you must first learn about your own inner-self better. This is for many a dilemma which is frustrating but not imaginary, rather it is one which can be understood and therefore overcome. The Enneagram has been a valuable tool in aiding modern psychology to help many people learn about themselves. At least it has helped me alot.
If you would like to gain some unusual insights into your own personality, the strengths as well as the weaknesses, The Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator (RHETI) Version 2.5 can help you determine your Enneagram type.
I took the test and these are my results: click TYPE 4 - THE ARTIST (ROMANTIC) for more information.
Your highest score will indicate you basic type, or it will be among the top 2-3 scores. You answered 138 questions out of 145. For best results, you should answer all the questions that apply.
Here is a table displaying the results of the test I took. As you can see, I scored very high on the artist and thinker categories, and scored much worse on the leader and reformer categories.
|1||Reformer rational, idealistic||9|
|2||Helper caring, nurturing||19|
|3||Motivator adaptable, success-oriented||16|
|4||Artist intuitive, reserved||22|
|5||Thinker perceptive, cerebral||16|
|6||Skeptic committed, security-oriented||15|
|7||Generalist enthusiastic, productive||11|
|8||Leader powerful, aggressive||8|
|9||Peacemaker easygoing, accommodating||20|
For more information about the types, the test or your score, go to the www.9types.com. I can recommend highly the following book, a real classic of Personal development. This offers a historical background and general guidelines for the beginner, but delves more deeply into the various personality types for more insight. The name of the book is:
"The Enneagram, Discovering Your Personal Type" by Don Richard Riso.
