Winter in Gouda can be pretty darn cold. As a native Californian myself, it has taken me many, many years to get used to the cold and dark winters here in Holland. To be honest, I am not sure if I have ever really gotten used to them. However, the gentle flow of seasons and their transitions have a very special way about them, and the winter season is nothing less spectacular than the other seasons.
