Over there in the distance there was that guy again walking just beyond the spot where the trees end. You know, next to old cabin which has been falling apart ever since anyone can remember. When my father was alive he had told me on several occasions about seeing what I was seeing at that exact moment, except that time and reality had been changed ever so slightly. As if I were somehow expected not to notice the change, which I knew would happen anyway.

Could it be you are walking in your dad's footsteps or like father like son.......or just maybe it is all about another time and place and choices which will be made. Who knows......

Father and son? No, I think that sounds just too obvious. Must be something more subtle, unearthly, perhaps even bordering on the bizarre. Some other time and place, yes that sounds more like it.

Sometimes it is the obvious that is overlooked and turns into the bizarre. Or because it is all so obvious the changes takes place leaving you behind .....wondering why......
