Trains collide...

Fortunately for me, I decided to leave work one hour earlier yesterday afternoon. Had I heeded to my usual predictable routine and left sixty minutes later, it could have been a whole different story.

Try to be careful out there. The mistress of fate is not always as forgiving as you might hope she would be.

So far there are 4 comments.

I too was headed in Friday night for the tram to Museumplein, but I found the maps I needed in Hilversum.

STILL safer, all told, than driving A1...

Glad you missed it...

I was delighted to stumble across your blog ... it is very rare to find such an inspiring one!
I will go and make myself a pleasant herbal tea & come back & enjoy some more of it!
Thought I saw something about the Mont Blanc & Geneva, that's where I live so, I've got to check that out.
I see you have a pack of children, I have two, 12 girl & 3boy ... I can sense though the little I have read/seen so far, what a great dad you seem to be - BRAVO!
I'm not surprised that the hands of god directed you on a different/safer path last Friday ...
Have you read Letters to my Son by Kent Nerburn?
I'm sure you would enjoy it ...
Happy Monday morning,
Maria

Well actually I did not miss the train, I took one earlier (probably the same thing, I guess).
